Being a person with a disability comes with many challenges.  Being a family member of a person with a disability also comes with many challenges.
Accessing the services and funds available for people with disabilities should not be one of those challenges. And yet, every day, people who are trying to access services or funding are overwhelmed by confusing online information, mountains of paperwork, and a slew of acronyms that sound like a foreign language.
Our goal with Untangle the Knot is to tell real stories about real people who have faced the complicated systems that act as barriers to accessing the services and funding that people with disabilities so desperately need.  It's only by helping lawmakers, regulators and others see and feel the frustration created by the current systems that we have a chance of getting those who have the power to change the system to do so.
